Privacy Policy - StompMap
Your pedalboard setup is stored on your device. StompMap does not send your boards, pedals, supplies or notes to the developer. You control JSON exports through Android's file picker. Android's own backup and device-transfer settings may also apply.
1) Who we are

2) What the app stores
StompMap stores your boards, pedals, power supplies, electrical specifications, dimensions, signal-chain order, notes and language preference in app-private storage on your Android device. A bundled reference catalog supports searches without sending your queries to a server. No account is required.
3) Camera and media
StompMap has no camera, photo capture or label-recognition feature. It does not request the Android CAMERA permission or access your photo library.
4) Permissions and connectivity
StompMap requests no runtime permissions. It does not request INTERNET, network-state, location, contacts, microphone, broad storage, advertising ID or notification permission. It has no developer-operated cloud sync, analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs. Android's system file picker grants access only to the backup file or destination you select.
5) JSON backups and Android backup
Export backup saves your board, pedal, supply, note and planning data as a JSON file at the destination you choose in Android's save picker. Import backup reads the file you select and asks for confirmation before replacing your current setup. Exported JSON is not separately encrypted by StompMap; choose a destination you trust. If you choose a cloud document provider or share a backup through another app, that provider's privacy policy applies.
The app allows Android system backup. Depending on your device and account settings, Android or your device manufacturer may back up or transfer app data. StompMap does not operate that service or receive those backups. You control it through your device's backup settings.
6) Data sharing and disclosure
We do not receive, sell or share your pedalboard data. StompMap has no server connection. User-selected file providers, external apps and Android's system backup operate under their own policies. If you contact us by email, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond.
7) Retention and deletion
Your setup remains in app storage until you change or delete it, replace it through import, clear the app's storage or uninstall it. Exported backup files remain at their chosen destinations until you delete them separately. Android system backups may remain under your device or account provider's retention settings.
8) Security
StompMap uses Android app-private storage for its database and preferences. Use your device lock and protect exported backups, especially if your notes contain personal information. No storage method can guarantee protection on an unlocked or compromised device.
9) Children's privacy
StompMap is a pedalboard planner utility and is not directed to children under 13. Because it does not collect or transmit personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.
10) International transfers
StompMap does not send app data to developer-operated servers in any country. A file provider or Android backup service you use may process data according to its own policy and settings.
11) Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when StompMap changes. The current version will remain available at privacy.saifullah.ai/stompmap.html, with the effective date updated above.
