2) What this policy covers

This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have when you use Pashe (the "App").

3) Information we collect

We may collect the following categories of information depending on which features you use:

• Information you provide: Profile display name, role (elder or helper), family circle details, help-request data, block/report records, and invite codes.
• App activity: Feature usage, interactions, and session history (participants, roles, timing).
• Device & technical data: Device model, OS version, app version, language, crash logs, IP addresses, and FCM device tokens.
• Identifiers: A Firebase internal user ID, and optional sign-in identifiers if you choose to link a Google account.
• Audio and Screen Data (Temporary/Real-time): Microphone audio and screen capture data during active live sessions. This data is transmitted end-to-end between your family peers using WebRTC, is heavily encrypted, and is never recorded or stored by Pashe.

4) How we use information

• Provide core app features, such as connecting family members for remote guidance.
• Maintain safety, prevent abuse, and enforce block/report lists within your family circle.
• Facilitate encrypted, real-time voice and screen sharing.
• Communicate with you about support requests or important updates.

5) Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information only in these cases:

• Service providers: Vendors who help operate the app (e.g., Firebase Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, Cloudflare Workers, Google STUN/TURN relays) under strict agreements. They process connection metadata to operate the encrypted WebRTC sessions.
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Family Members: Your profile information, connection status, screen (when shared), and voice (when unmuted) are visible to members of your joined family circles.

6) Data retention

We keep information only as long as needed to provide the app. Invite codes carry a 30-day expiry. Temporary connection data (SDP, ICE candidates) is cleared immediately when a session ends. You may request full account deletion via the in-app "Delete account" feature, which permanently removes your account, history, sessions, reports, and memberships.

7) Your choices and controls

• Permissions: You can allow or deny permissions (microphone, notifications, screen sharing) in Android settings or system prompts. Screen sharing explicitly requires your consent before every session via the Android MediaProjection dialog.
• Access & correction: You can edit your display name and role at any time in Settings.
• Deletion: You can delete your account securely within the app using the "Delete account" button in Settings.

8) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. Live voice and screen sharing use encrypted WebRTC connections. No method of transmission is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.

9) Children’s privacy & Safety

Pashe is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We also strictly enforce our Child Safety Standards.

10) International transfers

If you access the app from outside the country where our servers are located, your information may be transferred across borders. We take steps to protect information in accordance with this policy.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on our website at https://saifullah.ai and update the effective date above.
