Request Gialdyn data deletion
Email a deletion request to [email protected]. You can use this route without the app or access to your old device.
What to include
Use the subject Gialdyn data deletion request. State that you want to delete your Gialdyn shared ledger or a submitted report. Include an opaque ledger, relationship or report reference if you have one, and explain whether you still have an authorized device. If you do not know the reference, say so.
The developer will reply to identify the relevant data and verify that you are entitled to request its removal. A public fingerprint or email address alone does not prove ownership. Do not send private keys, a PIN, a recovery code, your recovery export, or details of unrelated work. We cannot decrypt an encrypted ledger for you or remove someone else's records without verification.
Delete from an authorized device
- Open Gialdyn and go to People.
- Choose Delete shared ledger. Export first if you want to keep a private copy.
- Read and confirm the deletion. Save the signed closure receipt if needed.
A worker can close the whole ledger without another person's approval. A participant can use Stop sharing for their own relationship. If you lost the authorized device, an encrypted shared export and its recovery code can restore authorization on a replacement device. The code alone cannot restore the records.
What is removed and what remains
Ledger closure revokes its service devices and removes the ledger's service ciphertexts. A minimal signed closure record remains to reject replay and identify the closed ledger. Deliberately submitted reports are separate: they remain while open and for 90 days after closure, including the associated review and appeal record, subject to lawful preservation requirements.
Copies on your devices, files you exported, and copies already downloaded by other participants remain historical. Remove your local app data and delete exported files separately if you no longer want them. We cannot remotely erase another participant's copy. Deletion does not cancel actual work or determine legal obligations.
