Child Safety Standards — Sutampa
1. Zero tolerance
Sutampa prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, trafficking, and any content or behavior that sexualizes, exploits, threatens, tracks, or endangers a child.
2. Product scope and age
Sutampa is a work tool for authorized aid coordinators and is not directed to children. It has no public profiles, public feed, chat, direct messages, social following, person search, or media upload. A comparison occurs only between two coordinators who exchange an invitation or local-network address and confirm a pairing code.
3. Prevention by design
- Household registers are encrypted on each device and are not uploaded as a central list.
- The selected partner learns only its own matching rows, mutual counts, organization identity, and signed comparison metadata—not the other register's non-matching rows.
- Fixed-size padded exchanges and end-to-end relay encryption reduce metadata disclosure.
- A minimum register size, per-partner attempt limits, signed refusals, and signed history deter repeated probing.
- Coordinators can report a comparison, block a partner locally, and permanently erase the app's local data and device identity.
4. In-app reporting and blocking
Every completed or refused comparison appears in signed history. Open a comparison to choose Report this comparison or Block partner. The report opens an email draft containing only the run ID and partner fingerprint; Sutampa never attaches household names. The app also provides Menu → Child Safety with these standards and the child-safety contact.
5. How to report a concern
- In the app: open the relevant signed comparison and choose Report this comparison.
- Email: contact the Sutampa child-safety point of contact at [email protected].
- Immediate danger: contact local emergency services or law enforcement first.
- Online child exploitation: where appropriate, report to the NCMEC CyberTipline or the relevant national reporting body.
6. Review and enforcement
We review child-safety reports promptly. Where a violation is identified, we may advise the reporting organization to block the partner, preserve only the limited evidence needed for review, and report suspected child exploitation to appropriate authorities as required by applicable law. The Sutampa relay cannot decrypt household data or selectively inspect comparison content.
