Delete your Sirran account
Delete inside Sirran
- Open Community while signed in with email.
- Choose Delete my account.
- Read what will happen, then choose Delete.
- If asked, enter your password again to finish.
Deletion inside the app takes effect immediately.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot use the app, email [email protected] from the email address you used in Sirran. Write “Delete my Sirran account” in the message. We will reply to confirm the request and complete it as soon as practical.
We ask only for enough information to match the email address used in Sirran.
What is removed
- Your Sirran sign-in.
- Your place as someone who confirms that a neighbour needs help.
- The private helper key kept by Sirran on that phone when deletion is completed in the app.
What is kept
- Your zakat calculations and giving records stored on your phone.
- Community totals and activity that do not identify you, because removing them could affect other people.
Local calculations and giving records never form part of your Sirran account. You can remove them separately in the app or by clearing Sirran's storage on your phone.
