Privacy Policy - RoomDocket

RoomDocket works fully offline. It does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. Inspection records stay on your device unless you deliberately export a PDF through Android's system file picker.

1) Who we are

2) What the app stores

RoomDocket stores the information you enter for rental inspections, including property names or references, inspection phases, dates, rooms, checklist conditions, notes, photo references, and evidence markers. This information is stored only in the app's private local database and app-controlled files on your Android device.

3) Photos and camera use

RoomDocket does not request the Android CAMERA permission. When you choose to capture evidence, the app opens an installed camera app using Android's secure camera intent. You can also choose an existing image using Android's system document picker. Selected or captured evidence is used only for the inspection you attach it to and remains local to your device.

4) Permissions and connectivity

RoomDocket requests no runtime permissions. It does not request INTERNET, network-state, location, contacts, microphone, storage, advertising ID, or notification permission. The app has no accounts, cloud sync, analytics, advertising, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs.

5) PDF exports

When you export an inspection, RoomDocket creates a PDF on your device and asks you to choose the destination with Android's system save picker. The app does not upload the PDF. After export, you control the file and any later sharing through apps or services you choose.

6) Data sharing and disclosure

We do not receive or share your inspection data because the app does not transmit it to us. Data leaves RoomDocket only through a user-directed action, such as saving a PDF or selecting an external camera or file-picker app. Those external apps operate under their own privacy policies.

7) Retention and deletion

Inspection records remain on your device until you delete an inspection, clear RoomDocket's app storage, or uninstall the app. Deleting an inspection removes its locally managed record and evidence references. PDFs saved outside the app remain wherever you saved them until you delete them separately.

8) Security

RoomDocket uses Android app-private storage for its local database and managed evidence. No security measure can guarantee protection of a device that is unlocked, compromised, or shared. Use your device lock and keep Android updated when records contain sensitive property details.

9) Children's privacy

RoomDocket is a general rental documentation utility and is not directed to children under 13. Because it does not collect or transmit personal data, we do not knowingly collect information from children.

10) International transfers

RoomDocket does not transfer data internationally because it has no server connection and does not transmit inspection records.

11) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when RoomDocket changes. The current version will remain available at privacy.saifullah.ai/roomdocket.html, with the effective date updated above.
