Child Safety Standards - Okugabana
Our standard
Saifullah Ahad prohibits child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation, trafficking, sextortion and attempts to use Okugabana to identify, track or harm a child. These prohibitions apply to group names, nicknames, objections, reports and any other shared content.
Audience and design
Okugabana is intended for adults coordinating declared power-use timetables. It has invite-only groups and no public feed. It is not a service for children. Do not enter children's personal details or use the app to arrange harmful activity. Encrypted group content is readable by enrolled members; the developer cannot routinely inspect its plaintext.
Report and block
In Records, open a member's record and choose Report, or choose Report beside a member in Group. Enter a short description and save the local report to block that identity on your device. Use Review email to open your email app, inspect the details and send the report to [email protected]. Saving a local report alone does not notify the developer. Describe the concern and relevant public record identifier when safe. Do not download, forward or attach CSAM, and do not send private keys or recovery secrets. If a child faces immediate danger, contact local emergency services. You can also report suspected exploitation to the appropriate child-protection authority, including the NCMEC CyberTipline where applicable.
Response and limits
The child-safety contact reviews reports received by email and responds to credible concerns. We can restrict access to the app-operated relay and cooperate with competent authorities, preserving or reporting legally required information. Group stewards can propose member removal through the signed approval process. We cannot promise to erase another person's device, an independent export or a public blockchain record. End-to-end encryption does not excuse abuse.
