Delete your Oakvow account
Delete inside the app
- Open Oakvow and go to the Trust tab.
- Choose Delete account and family circle if you own the circle, or Delete account and local membership if you are a guardian.
- Choose Delete permanently.
If you do not see this, update Oakvow or use the email option below.
Delete without the app
Email us from the email address you use to sign in to Oakvow, with the subject Oakvow account deletion. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we delete the account and its data within 30 days.
What is deleted
Your email address and account ID. If you own the family circle, also the circle itself: its open shelf items, sealed records and guardian shares, invites, guardian list, check-ins, release schedules and notification tokens.
What stays, and for how long
- If you are a guardian, the circle owner keeps their own records, including your entry in their guardian list, until they remove you or delete the circle. Email us and we remove your entry within 30 days.
- Our service providers may keep copies in their backups for up to 180 days, then remove them.
