Child Safety Standards — KinRoster

1) Our commitment

KinRoster helps a family's care team coordinate looking after a loved one inside private, invite-only care circles. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), on our platform. These standards comply with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and applicable laws.

2) Age requirements

KinRoster is intended for adults (18 and over) who coordinate care for a family member or loved one. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly allow accounts for children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).

3) How content works in KinRoster

There is no public feed, no discovery of strangers, and no direct messaging. Content (care tasks, roster entries, and journal observations) is visible only to the members of a private circle, joined exclusively by an invite code shared by that circle's organizer. Access is enforced server-side on every read and write.

4) Prohibited content and behavior

The following are strictly prohibited on KinRoster:

• Any content that sexually exploits or endangers children, including CSAM.
• Grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, or any attempt to exploit minors.
• Sharing, requesting, or distributing exploitative material involving minors.
• Using a care circle to harass, track, or harm any person, including a child.
• Impersonation or misuse of another person's identity or information.

5) Detection and prevention

We employ the following measures to prevent child exploitation:

• An in-app reporting mechanism on journal content, so any circle member can flag any entry.
• An organizer moderation queue: reported entries are reviewed and can be hidden or removed.
• A dedicated Child Safety screen inside the app describing these standards and how to report.
• Private-by-design circles: no public exposure of content, membership by invite code only.
• Prompt review of reports sent to our child-safety contact and swift action on violations.

6) Reporting

If you encounter any content or behavior that exploits or endangers a child, please take the following steps:

• In-app: use the Report action on any journal entry, or open Settings → Child safety standards for reporting guidance. Reported entries go to the circle's moderation queue and can be escalated to us by email.
• Email: contact us directly at [email protected] with details of the concern.
• Authorities: report to your local law enforcement and/or the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline.

7) Enforcement

When we become aware of potential CSAM or child exploitation:

• The content is immediately removed.
• The offending account is permanently suspended.
• We report the incident to the relevant authorities, including NCMEC, as required by law.
• We preserve relevant evidence and cooperate fully with law enforcement investigations.
