Privacy Policy

Bilang · Effective date: 2026-10-02

In short: Bilang counts a delivered stack of bricks, blocks or boxes from photos you take. The photos, the counts and the records stay on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere, and the app has no account, no ads and no tracking.

1. What Bilang does with your photos

When you photograph a stack, Bilang stores those photos inside the app's own private storage on your phone and reads them there to count the units. The counting happens on the phone. Bilang keeps each original photo exactly as the camera wrote it, together with a fingerprint (a SHA-256 checksum) so you can show that a photo was not altered. The lines Bilang draws over a photo are drawn on screen and in exports only; they are never written into the stored original.

2. What Bilang collects

3. Permissions

Bilang does not ask for access to your files or your photo library as a whole.

4. Sharing

Bilang shares nothing by itself. When you choose to save a record as a PDF or a data file, Android asks you where to save it, and the file goes only where you choose. What you then do with that file (for example, showing it to a supplier) is up to you.

5. Keeping and deleting your data

Your counts stay on your phone until you delete them. You can delete any count, with its photos, inside the app. Clearing the app's storage or uninstalling Bilang removes all of them, because Android deletes an app's private storage when it is uninstalled. There is no server copy and no backup held by us, so a deletion is permanent.

6. Children

Bilang is a counting tool for anyone receiving a delivery. It does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.

7. Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
