Delete your Mawjood account
Delete inside the app
- Open Mawjood, open the menu and choose Settings.
- Choose Delete account.
- Enter your password and choose Delete.
Today the button deletes your sign-in account only. To also remove your sightings and the medicines you follow, email us as shown below.
Delete without the app
Email us from the email address you use to sign in to Mawjood, with the subject Mawjood account deletion. We may ask you to confirm the request, and we delete the account and its data within 30 days.
What is deleted
Your name, email address and account ID, the medicine sightings you posted (pharmacy, price and note) and the medicines and areas you follow.
What stays, and for how long
- Pharmacy, area and medicine names you added to the shared list stay for everyone. They keep only an account ID that no longer exists.
- Our service providers may keep copies in their backups for up to 180 days, then remove them.
- Feedback you sent us stays in our inbox. Ask in the same email and we delete it too.
