Child Safety Standards - BrainBaton
BrainBaton has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, trafficking, or attempts to facilitate unlawful contact with a minor.
1) Scope and provider
BrainBaton is a multiplayer cognitive-training game provided by Saifullah Ahad. These standards apply to Online Arena, Local Arena, arena nicknames, preset reactions, reports, and every interaction facilitated through BrainBaton.
2) Age requirements
BrainBaton is intended for people aged 13 and over, or the equivalent minimum age required in their jurisdiction. It is not designed or marketed as a children's app.
3) Safety by design
- There is no open-ended chat, private messaging, public feed, profile biography, link sharing, or media upload.
- Players choose a short arena nickname that passes through a profanity/impersonation filter.
- Communication is limited to four preset reactions written by BrainBaton.
- Every other player in an Online Arena room has block and report actions.
- Reports are restricted to backend/admin access; other players cannot browse them.
- The app includes a dedicated Child Safety screen and a direct link to these standards.
4) Prohibited behavior
- Creating, requesting, distributing, promoting, storing, or facilitating CSAM.
- Grooming, sexual solicitation, sextortion, trafficking, or sexualized conduct involving minors.
- Coercion, threats, harassment, stalking, impersonation, or exposing a child's private information.
- Attempts to move a minor to an unsafe contact channel or arrange unlawful contact.
- Using an arena nickname, preset reaction, room, or connection flow to facilitate abuse or evade safeguards.
5) How to report
- In Online Arena: open the menu beside another player and select the child-safety report category. The action submits the room, reporter/target anonymous identifiers, category, and time and blocks that player on the reporting device.
- By email: send child-safety concerns to [email protected].
- Local Arena: leave the room and use the email contact above for a concern that cannot be reported in-app.
- Immediate danger: contact local emergency services first.
- Suspected online child exploitation: a report may also be made to the NCMEC CyberTipline.
BrainBaton has no private messages or uploaded media for a user to attach to an in-app report.
6) Enforcement and cooperation
When a credible CSAE or CSAM concern is reported or discovered, we may:
- restrict or remove access associated with the offending anonymous account;
- preserve relevant evidence when legally appropriate;
- report the incident to NCMEC and/or appropriate law-enforcement authorities where required by law; and
- cooperate with valid legal investigations while limiting access to sensitive report data.
7) Privacy and retention
A safety report contains the room, reporter and reported anonymous identifiers, selected category, and time. It does not contain private messages because BrainBaton has no private messaging. Reports may be retained as needed to investigate a concern, protect users, or meet a legal obligation. See the BrainBaton Privacy Policy.
